Canada and Luke are back, like Jordan wearing the 4-5, and they've got a headful of knowledge to drop on close wins by Ohio State, Clemson and Louisville. And Washington State. And Arkansas. In fact, with the exception of a rolling Alabama, they were pretty much all close. What does that mean? [Cue CA and Luke talking.]

Hey, guess what: It's the 2016 College Football Week 6 preview! Take that, Google.

Middling as it may be, this weekend's slate does feature a quintet, maybe a sextet of compelling match-ups, including a Tennessee-Texas A&M tilt that means one of them -- finally! -- has to lose. (Vols, looking at you.) Add in a little FSU-Miami, Bama-Arkansas, a dash of Va Tech-UNC, and there could be some long-lasting repercussions to Saturday's action. The boys preview 'em all, with 100% guaranteed* correct results.

Week 5 is in the books! Which team catapulted into the playoff picture? Which team suffered a loss but likely didn't diminish their national standing much? Which team scored the biggest upset? Which team's coach embarrassed them the most? CA and Luke (especially Luke, on that last one) have all the answers!

Do you love Johnny Bravo, Grimace, Joe Swanson and other top-heavy things? You're going to be elated with this weekend's schedule.

There's the trio of huge, marquee match-ups: Stanford-Washington, Wisconsin-Michigan and Louisville-Clemson. And then there's . . . well, college football, anyway. Preview the slate with Luke and CA, who are definitely getting them all right this time.

Les Miles is no longer a college football coach.

I mean sure, you can justify the firing depending on your view of the last few years, but it's still bizarre to say out loud. (Or write quietly.) The Miles ouster was the big news of the weekend, but there were plenty of games that could have long-lasting repercussions just begging for analysis, too.

Sit back, brew a pot of oolong, and recap the slate with Luke and CA.

The 2015 previews near the finish with what figures to be one of the most competitive conferences races of the year: The Pac-12. No thanks to Oregon State. And the entire two-horse-race North division. That South, though. . . .

An annual tradition unlike any other, Luke and CA sit down and discuss how Iowa gets to the national championship game.

OK, that's a little aggressive, but they do preview the Big 10, with a couple of not insignificant surprise movers and shakers. And a look ahead to the obligatory seven wins and no coaching changes for the Hawkeyes. That's the tradition unlike any other.

Note: This episode was recorded just before the news broke that Michigan State LB Ed Davis is out for the season.

2015 ACC preview! FSU the Lone Favorite vs FSU the Co-co-co-Favorite! Deshaun Watson's dominance vs. Deshaun Watson's mediocrity! Louisville the ACC Title Contender vs Louisville the Third Tier Team! Short sentences with aggressive punctuation!

It's going to be wild.

There's a fine line between the top two teams in the Big 12 and the bottom two.

Wait, did I say fine? Gigantic, yawning chasm. On the latest episode of CFP, the boys delineate the four tiers of the 2015 Big 12, including that endless divide between 2 and 10.

The 2015 previews begin!

With the season tantalizingly close, the boys begin the 2015 conference previews, starting, as one tends to, with the SEC. Yes, the conference that features such world-beating quarterbacks as Brandon Allen and Maty Mauk.

Don't get too comfortable, Case Keenum; records were made to be broken.

The offseason rolls slowly, surely to a close. But before we look ahead to next year, we have one last recap of last season: Pac-12, the year that was.

Another day, another 2014 conference recap. This time, the boys look back at the Big 10's slate, which saw a couple disappointments, a couple pleasant surprises, Kirk Ferentz banking another $3.5 million-ish, and the emergence of the nation's best team.

All that, plus your weekly municipal news: a listener responds to Canada's Seattle tirade.

Why listen to the latest episode of The College Football Podcast? There's the look back on the 2014-15 Big 12 season, sure, but that's secondary.

The real star of the show is Canada's vitriolic disdain for the city of Seattle. And Boston. And largely every major metropolitan area in the country, it'd seem. To the pod!

Slowly, surely, the 2014 conference/division recaps continues. Today, a look back at the 2014 SEC East season, aka the Year of Derek Mason. Or wait, no. The opposite of that.

Hindsight is 20/20, my friends. So The College Football Podcast's look back over the 2014 season, with an eye toward how it informs the upcoming campaign, is naturally flawless. First up, the SEC West.

Don't call it a comeback! We have, indeed, been here for years.

After a brief postseason hiatus, wherein Canada ventured Down Under and Luke watched a bunch of Oscar contenders (what an adventurer, eh?), the boys return to discuss the biggest topics of the last fortnight or two: National Signing Day, Vernon Adams, and the folly of Andrus Peat participating in skills competitions. It'll be great.

College football arrived out of nowhere, like a wet hound coming in from the rain. (Or, y'know, whatever imagery you prefer.) And now, just like that, another season is gone, but not forgotten. So it goes.

Today the boys bookend the season, recapping the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship game, an affair somewhat anticlimactic in its one-sidedness. Further, they look back over the highs and lows of the format, and discuss how this season will affect the committee's decisions going forward.

Add to that a bit of news and notes, and some Collin Klein chatter, and you've got quite the show.

The first-ever first round of the College Football Playoff is in the books. Let's go ahead and call it a wild success. (Unless you're Florida State, naturally.) The rest of the New Year's Six bowls weren't exactly chopped liver, either.

So . . . recap of the playoff and major bowls? Recap indeed.

Today, having already previewed the other 318 bowls this postseason, the boys tackle the six most important -- Peach, Cotton, Fiesta, Orange and the playoff semifinals, Rose and Sugar.

All that, plus the latest coaching chatter. Enjoy these fleeting moments of in-season podcasts while they last. . . .

Eggnog, spiral-sliced ham and a breakdown of Reilly O'Toole and the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl. What more could you possibly hope for? Oh, you wanted Canada to guess what each of the bowl sponsors actually does in the business world? Got that too.

Louisiana Lafayette and Nevada get things underway Saturday morning in the New Orleans Bowl and it only gets better from there, as Utah State meets UTEP, Utah dances with Colorado State, Western Michigan takes on Air Force, and South Alabama undertakes the Bowling Green quagmire. And that's just Saturday!

The boys preview all those, plus five more pre-Christmas games, and offer up their takes on the best and worst match-ups of the first-week slate. And they rave about Popeyes.

Today, the boys look back at the season's last weekend, and break down the playoff repercussions. Baylor, we hardly knew ya.

Also, who's the next Oregon State coach?!

Note: There are a couple of audio issues in this episode. Nothing prohibitive, but worth noting.

Plus, insight on the latest coaching musical chairs action, which saw Nebraska fire a coach, Buffalo hire one, and Wazzu and Auburn divest themselves of defensive coordinators.

The penultimate weekend of the regular season has come and gone, and, I mean . . . better than expected, right? Arkansas upended Ole Miss, officially eliminating from playoff contention a team that was probably already eliminated; Florida State survived another nail-biter; and Arizona took Utah to the woodshed. And that's just scratching the surface, really.

Recap the entirety of Week 13 with the boys, who also offer up some special bonus content: the hilarity of Canadian football rules!

Then the boys venture into the Week 12 recap. Arizona State-as-national-contender, we hardly knew ye. It's like two shows for the price of one. And that one is free!

So savor these fleeting moments, before the 2014 season is over and Iowa is crowned the first College Football Playoff champion, and preview Saturday's action with the boys. Special attention on FSU-Miami and MSU-Bama, sure, but there's plenty of forecasting to go around.

And quick breakdown on the latest playoff rankings, of course.

Saturday is, quite possibly, the best slate of games all season long. Arizona State-Notre Dame, Alabama-LSU, Ohio State-Michigan State, Oregon-Utah, and that's just scratching the surface. Iowa-Minnesota, for Pete's sake!

Luke and Canada preview the whole day of action, and address the playoff committee's latest rankings. UCLA, be pissed. (Although, yeah, don't lose games too, I suppose.)
