THE College Football Podcast

You've waited all season for it, and it's finally arrived: the CFP CFPP; The College Football Podcast College Football Playoff preview.

CA and Luke break down Oklahoma vs Clemson and Bama vs Michigan State with such prescience you won't even need to watch the games. You can, though. And a few bonus New Year's Six bow previews to boot. Oh, and pants!

Christmas is coming early! Today brings that most anticipated of traditions, that sterling example of media: It's The College Football Podcast's 2015-16 Bowl Extravaganza!

Canada and Luke tackle FORTY-ONE (or so) bowl games, offering up lines, previews and at least one reason to watch each and every one, even that odious Foster Farms Bowl. What a time to be alive.

Well, the conference championships are in the books and the 2015-16 College Football Playoff and bowl schedules are set. What can we glean from the final non-Army-Navy, pre-bowl weekend? CA and Luke tackle the topic, and react to the new coaching hires. One team did shockingly poorly.

Well, this weekend it comes to fruition: Iowa completes its unbeaten season with a 13-0 mark and an outright Big 10 championship. Or something.

Luke and Canada preview that game -- which, admittedly, Michigan State could conceivably win -- along with the SEC, ACC and Pac 12 championships.

Add in coaching carousel chatter and the case for the 5-7 bowl team, and this is how you bookend a season.

A forecast of how rivalry week will go down? A Thanksgiving-history trivia contest to determine if Canada (the person) is allowed to celebrate Thanksgiving in America (the country)? Does it get any better than The College Football Podcast's Week 13 preview?! (Rhetorical. It does not.)

Well, it took like three Separation Saturdays, but some separating really happened this weekend.

Oklahoma-TCU, Baylor-Oklahoma State, Michigan State-Ohio State and on down the line. Canada and Luke break down the repercussions, most notably, y'know . . . Iowa winning the national championship. It's all over but the crying, guys. Start making your peace with it.

Oh hey, and what are the odds that Jimbo Fisher lands at LSU? (Lulz. Not good.)

Instant reactions to the third CFP Committee rankings! Which, y'know . . . were pretty much the same as always. But the boys also preview Week 12 action, including another undefeated team falling by the wayside. Who could it possibly be?

Week 11 is in the books. ELEVEN! Hardly seems fair.

Canada and Luke recap Saturday's action, breaking down the repercussions of Oklahoma's win, Stanford's loss and the rest of the week's most momentous results. Will the CFP Committee hand down big changes?

It's Week 11, meaning there are only so many more opportunities for chaos to take hold, and it starts with Oklahoma visiting Baylor on Saturday.

That's just one, of course, and the boys tackle them all, looking ahead to an intriguing array of fringe contenders with sneaky tricky games.

Plus, when is too early for Christmas music and decorations, and what did the CFP Committee get wrong? Lots, it seems.

Week 9 may be the worst schedule of the season, but there are still a number of potential upsets, even if not of the earth-shattering variety.

Technically, TCU, Clemson and Oklahoma State are all playing in potential upset games, too. Plus, y'know, college football is college football. To the preview!

Man, it's the worst schedules that yield the most unlikely upsets, eh?

Well, is Utah losing to a USC team who's favored by 6.5 really an upset? What does Florida State's loss mean? Is Lane Kiffin the next Miami coach? How's Burgerville's pumpkin spice milkshake?

All that and more in The College Football Podcast's Week 8 recap.

Look, no; Week 8 is not a great schedule of games. But you know what's worse? The middle of May.

So sit back and embrace the first of two straight weeks of mediocrity with the boys, who preview the road to the Fun Belt championship, the battle of A&M and Ole Miss, the insane line of Utah-USC, and everything in between. As far as awful slates go, it's a pretty good one.

The latest Separation Saturday is behind us, and one clear favorite to win the national title has emerged: Iowa, obviously.

Well, it's official: The 2015 college football season is halfway over. I mean, presuming you don't count the week that solely contains Army-Navy. (We don't.) Naturally, the season's going exactly how we thought it would be at this juncture. Florida and Utah in the playoff? Who didn't have that?

Today, the boys preview the season's midpoint action, a pretty strong slate from top (Bama-A&M, LSU-Florida) to bottom (something involving Kansas or North Texas, I s'pose). Enjoy.

Ugh; this is why you don't pre-record.

With time restrictions this week, today's preview of Week 4 was recorded two days in advance. In theory not a big deal, but then in theory Jeremy Johnson wouldn't get benched, Cardale Jones wouldn't return as the starter, and Myles Jack wouldn't be ruled out for the season. I say again: ugh.

All that being said, no predictions change. Auburn is still inept on offense, Ohio State is still playing Western Michigan, and Myles Jack's absence certainly isn't going to make UCLA's D better. That's pertinent for one of your co-hosts, anyway.

If you have a college football podcast located in America -- as opposed to all of those CFB 'casts in Luxembourg and Bhutan -- you have to do an episode on Notre Dame, since they're not in a conference and it'd be unAmerican to ignore them. It's mandatory.

So the boys do that. But there's a national preview too -- a projected playoff bracket -- bookending the 2015 conference preview series, so it's not just all Malik Zaire all the time.

College football arrived out of nowhere, like a wet hound coming in from the rain. (Or, y'know, whatever imagery you prefer.) And now, just like that, another season is gone, but not forgotten. So it goes.

Today the boys bookend the season, recapping the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship game, an affair somewhat anticlimactic in its one-sidedness. Further, they look back over the highs and lows of the format, and discuss how this season will affect the committee's decisions going forward.
