The votes are in and the committee has met, and we now have our first-ever College Football Playoff rankings. Surprises? Certainly, but, in a rather unpredictable turn of events, there's probably nothing to get too upset about. Probably.

Canada and Luke weigh in on the committee's list, contextualizing what exactly it all means and who the big winners and losers were.

As always seems to be the case, what appeared on paper to be a less than stellar day of college football this past Saturday turned into non-stop must-see action, and even a marquee upset to confuse the national landscape.

Look, I'm not going to lie to you: This weekend's slate isn't pretty. Michigan @ Michigan State is on ABC, for Pete's sake. But college football is still college football. Somewhere, somebody is at a wedding, and doesn't even have the option of watching Mississippi State visit Kentucky. 

So preview Week 9 with the boys, as they discuss some of the few bright spots, from WVU-OK state to Texas-KSU (we suppose) to Oregon-Cal. Or something.

Another weekend in the books, and, despite their only being one true marquee match-up, it was a wild one!

Is Baylor-West Virginia an upset special? Could Washington end a decade of disappointment against Oregon and their trolling uniforms? Is A&M ready to right the ship against Alabama?
